Developed a scope of work for bidding which resulted in a savings of $1,000,000 in construction costs over outside consultants proposed budget.

Responsible for consultant management and monitoring of ongoing turn-key capital projects including multiple projects within the companys own portfolio. Provided support to loan officers and legal department throughout the risk assessment process.
Development risk analysis and construction oversight on multiple commercial office buildings with budgets from $10,000,000 - $28,000,000. Identified a potential developer default in one case which saved the company a possible $13,000,000 loss. Design consultation and construction oversight on a $30,000,000 New York hotel renovation. Presented design alternatives for very small guest rooms that resulted in efficient, stylish and cost-effective upgrades. Managed disbursement of loan proceeds, protecting the owner and lender from significant losses when the General Contractor failed to meet its financial obligations. Developed an in-house construction cost data base facilitating budget analysis compared with developer and consultant cost estimates.
