Managed, supervised, and reviewed the design and preparation of construction documents for 10 different sites throughout the Western to mid-western states. Worked closely with regional development manager from preliminary land planning stage to final design. Golden Springs Commercial Subdivision
Oxford, Alabama
Designed and produced construction documents for a 106-acre commercial subdivision in Oxford, Alabama. Performed extensive coordination with local jurisdiction, Alabama Department of Transportation, and utility companies, including Alabama Power, AT&T;, Colonial Pipeline, Plantation Pipeline and Southern Natural Gas Company. Designed two miles of three-lane roadway, mass-grading plan, internal infrastructure, new utilities to future outlots and on-site storm water management facility. Coordinated a FEMA map amendment to eliminate the on-site floodway of the Boiling Spring Branch. Prepared and administered contract between General Contractor and Owner. Prepared a cost analysis for each out lot to assist client in marketing the sale of outparcels. Designed two additional, similar 50-acre and 18-acre sites with one mile and quarter mile of road design respectively.

Bradley Park Crossings Shopping Center
Columbus, Georgia
Prepared construction documents for a 25-acre Target shopping center in Columbus, GA, with approximately 225,000 square feet of building area and out lots. Designed on-site storm water management facility and on-site utilities and relocated approximately 800 linear feet of sanitary sewer line. Performed monthly site inspections for contractors pay requests.

Staples
Pensacola, Florida
Managed, supervised and designed all water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems for this 2.3 acre Staples office supply store site which included a 20,388 SF building and 69 associated parking spaces. Stabilization of existing site also required erosion design. A creative system of landscape berms was designed to address 5,000 cubic yards of unsuitable soil on site.

Weaver Way Culvert Replacement
Gwinnett County, Georgia
Managed and supervised the design and preparation of construction documents for the replacement of existing double 54 cmp pipes with double 54 rcp pipes. Prepared hydrology report, which analyzed and determined the impact of improvements to upstream residential property owners and downstream commercial property owners. Assisted Gwinnett County in obtaining necessary construction easements from property owners. Prepared detailed cost estimate and summary of quantities per the countys standards and specifications.

Corley Road Drainage Improvements
Gwinnett County, Georgia
Managed and supervised the design and preparation of construction documents for drainage improvements, which included the installation of an 18 RCP pipe to eliminate local flooding along Corley Road. Performed extensive coordination between Northern Railroad Company, AT&T;, Atlanta Gas Light and BFI Waste Management Facility.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Conditional Letter of Revisions
Served as Project Leader Water Resources Engineer responsible for performing technical reviews of hydrologic and hydraulic models, including HEC-1, HEC-2, and HEC-RAS, as part of the FEMA Flood Map Restudy and Revision processes. Responsibilities included preparing official FEMA correspondence and coordination with other engineering firms concerning compliance with the FEMA NFIP regulations with respect to conditional letter of map revisions (CLOMR) to the Federal Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) for the Region IV FEMA Engineers and the Local Community Officials when technical and regulatory questions arise.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hurricane Charley Wind Analysis Study
Team leader for field work associated with the wind analysis study task order under FEMAs Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program (HMTAP). The regions covered during this effort extended from Punta Gorda, Florida along the center line track of Hurricane Charley to Daytona Beach Florida. While working on this contract responsibilities included developing and maintaining Microsoft Access database for field data collected. A one page, field inspection form was developed using Microsoft Access. The inspection form allowed field crews to manually record the data using a hard copy or the field crews could digitally enter the data collected into the database while in the field with the use of a laptop computer. The data collected noted the type of damage sustained to structures, trees, mobile homes, and to overhead utilities. Other data collected included wind speeds, wind directions, type of wind (tornado or straight line), and type of debris generated. A hand held GPS unit was utilized to collect data at almost one hundred data point collection sites through the hurricanes path. Data collected was used to prepare final analysis Other responsibilities included scope development, budget review, and field data collection. Field work responsibilities consisted of contacting and meeting with local Emergency Management personnel for advisement of damaged areas. Other field duties consisted of directing all crews to areas to collect data with in the path of the Hurricane.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Repetitive Loss Structure Inventory
Team leader for field work associated with the inventory of repetitive loss structures in Cobb, Fulton, and Chatham County Georgia. Duties included contacting and meeting with local county representatives to confirm repetitive loss structure data base. Field work consisted of locating property, identifying the flooding source and cause of flooding, populating field inspection forms into Microsoft Access Database using laptop computer, conduct interviews with local residence, and make recommendations for flood mitigations.

Brooks Road Culvert Replacement
Gwinnett County, Georgia
Managed, designed, and prepared construction documents for replacing existing double 48-inch corrugated metal pipes with triple 8-foot-by-7-foot reinforced concrete box culverts. Because of extreme sediment deposits within the pipes, the existing double 48-inch pipes were under sized and had become non-functional. Performed the hydraulic design using HEC-RAS and used predicted flows calculated from HEC-HMS. Produced construction documents and calculated quantities using AutoCAD and ArcView GIS.

Old Norcross Road Pump Station
Gwinnett County, Georgia
Managed and supervised the evaluation of flooding impact on Sweetwater Creek as a result of the proposed Pump Station facility. Made recommendations to Gwinnett County DPU based on findings, and the future land use condition within the county.

Upper Yellow River / Sweetwater Creek Flood Study
Gwinnett County, Georgia
Prepared Capitol Improvement Project (CIP) report consisting of more than 50 preliminary designs and cost estimates for road and stream crossings within the watersheds. Also prepared ranking matrix to prioritize the importance of replacement of the existing culvert/bridge when compared to the future year 2020 water surface elevations.
