Worked with the Project Manager as the technical contact for the planning and design consultants during design process and construction of IT and security capital improvements. Coordination of site surveys, use of GIS, and coordination of consultant interactions with other projects and airport departments. Performed technical inspections for existing conditions and during construction or system implementation for contract compliance. Tracks standards compliance and is a technical reviewer of specifications, plans (drawings) and technical submittals. Under general direction, performs construction management of airport facility construction projects including airside and terminal projects; interprets plans, details and specifications to ensure construction and contract compliance; oversees the change order process; oversees the activities of construction inspectors; trains and supervises construction inspectors; and performs other duties as assigned - Maintains project documentation through review of Construction Inspectors daily status reports; charts progress of contract schedules via regularly scheduled meetings; reviews, ensures utilization of shop drawing submittals; process and ensure incorporation of RFIs; review contractor change orders and make recommendations for changes; incorporate change orders; facilitates pre-bid, pre-construction, and regularly scheduled construction meetings.

$6.0 Billion Capital Improvement Expansion Program at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport: Recruited by RCT Engineering to perform communications systems inspection of a variety of infrastructure projects valued at over $50M. Projects included the installation of optical fiber backbone structure for the airport complex; construction of a combined fire/police/security communication control center and thirty (30) communications rooms; implementation of security systems, voice-paging systems, flight and baggage information display and SCADA systems throughout complex; seismic improvements and the erection of bracing on the Ticketing, Mezzanine and Penthouse levels of Main Terminal. Specific duties included assisting Resident Engineers with interfaces between owner and contractor, reviewing contract drawings and specifications, site survey, estimating, construction bulletin generation, red-line verification, performing quality assurance inspection and oversight for all trades for up to seven simultaneous projects, and conducting meetings and coordination for construction management, inter-contractor and contractor / owner coordination, progress and start-up activities.
