Exelon Thermal Technologies 2000 to 2004 Lead Operating Engineer at Midway Airport
Operated and maintained plant equipment to supply the airport with hot water at a constant temperature of 220 degrees and chilled water at a temperature of 34 degrees simultaneously by successfully operating 4 hot water boilers and a thermal storage ice tank capable of storing 14,400 tons of cooling.
Monitored the plant operations electricity and natural gas usage ensuring it met the City of Chicagos strict energy contract stipulations, resulting in an annual energy savings of 12%.
Supervised and assisted 6 outside contractors and trained engineering personnel.
Troubleshot piping problem for the airport design engineer. I found the problem to be the 20-inch supply and return chilled water pipes were crossed in pipe chase.
Assisted chief engineer in commissioning the facility and suggested equipment modifications.

AON Center 1988 to 2000
Assistant Chief Engineer and Relief Supervisor for Engineering
Managed and supervised a 2.5 million square foot office complex and directed operations and training of personnel. Scheduled projects and man hours, monitored new construction and remodeling quality control, ordered parts, wrote contracts, and handled emergency situations.
Oversaw an 18- inch high-pressure steam strainer explosion, with only a 1.5 hour downtime. Coordinated supervisors, additional personnel, security and janitors to bring plant back online.

Collaborated with Architecture Department on completing building as-built set and proof-read blueprints to verify equipment accuracy.
