Career History




 

President/CEO, The LeSabre Group Inc., 2013-Present. Provide construction consulting services ranging from developing maximum personnel utilization, operational infrastructure development and enhancement, project development coordination and development of subcontractor base. Managed $5M budget.


  • Resolved production backlog issues, eliminating potential budget and cost overruns. LeSabre client had 250 residential property rehabs to finalize. Assessed/evaluated contractor labor force/capacity. Developed incentive contracts. Established teams of skilled tradesmen. Condensed broad base of trade providers into targeted teams.


 


  • Revived client contract portfolio management process, enabling fulfillment on time/budget. LeSabre client had committed to multiple projects out of their expertise. Evaluated stage of completion and customer expectations. Determined resources available for completion. Obtained buy-in realistic timelines. Retained clients.

  • Developed project management process/procedures, salvaging major GC client contract. Lesabre client was failing to meet quality and deadline requirements.   • A variety of production/construction indursty from bidding to completion of projects, move in property maintenance, property preservation and rehabilitation. Day to day operations including financial, organizational and executive.


 

Vice President, McGregor Construction Co., 2003-2013. Effectively functioned as construction manager and site supervisor. Played role of lead estimator, accountable for overseeing projects including shopping malls, apartment buildings, office complexes, hotels, restaurants, and residential construction. Managed $16M budget and 30 staff.


  • Organized a small group of investors and contractors who had a lengthy duration in the industry ad relative amount of common interests and goals for the continuation of their endeavors.

  • Developed a series of marketing presentations that were designed to grasp the immediate attention of clients as to the solution to their needs. These presentations combined digital sequencing process with mock versions of their proposed project renderings to display digital sequenced completion of their project.

  • Designed a component wall system that allowed preconstruction of metal walls for high rise commercial applications to cut production times and on site labor costs. The techniques were some of the first in the industry and have been expanded upon perfected and replicated by many entities.

  • Established a consortium of service providers to address virtually each specific need of construction phases to accommodate “one stop shopping”.

  • McGregor’s company revenue more than doubled during my time of service as vice president and company-wide overhead was reduced consistently in comparison to expected annual costs of operation by 3 percent per year. Employee retention rates were increased, overall safety performance records improved significantly and customer retention reflected at an all-time high.
