SUFFOLK CONSTRUCTION, BOSTON, MA                                                                                            2013

Project Controller


  • Hired to run the accounting/finance of a $325M dollar construction project at B&W’s Hospital

  • Prepared monthly cash analysis for upper management

  • Assisted Project Managers with the monthly project forecast including validation of projected fee and percent complete and monitored the overall cash position of the project.

  • Kept upper management apprised of the project’s performance and related risks and opportunities

  • Supervised a staff of one, including AR and AP activity, AIA invoicing, payments, journal entries, etc. in order to maintain proper internal controls and manage risk

  • Prepared and reconciled the monthly owner requisition and then met and discussed the invoice with the project team and the client.
