Overall responsibility for TRT (Omni Hotels) on the pre-construction, design, buy-out, and project implementation and construction for the Country Music Hall of Fame Expansion and 800 room Omni Hotel (Total value is $325 million). Omni Amelia Island ($90m), Tucson ($32 m)

 

  • Responsible for assuring that the corporation’s overall construction objectives are met by establishing and monitoring a systematic overview of all project development activities that relate to size, quality, cost timeliness, design, and construction methods, as well as controls, procedures, and personnel.

  • Establish procedures to assure that progress on project is monitored so as to highlight unusual situations, flag potential problems and recognize outstanding performance.

  • Provide input into the creation and control of the development budgets, construction cost, operational modeling and forecasting and for architectural plans and specifications.

  • Directing construction projects in various states utilizing a standard execution plan for construction documents for permitting agencies within a scheduled time frame based upon the approved construction schedule.

  • Validate cost projections for permit and construction impact fees. Verify permitting agency calculation and schedules payment of funds.

  • Responsible for obtaining all Federal, State, and Local Development and Building Permits including timely submittal and tracking of review process in accordance with project schedules in tandem with other professionals on the project.  Maintains active status on existing permit, manages all required permit modifications during construction, and insures compliance and final certification.

  • Develop and manage construction schedules.

  • Coordinating and cooperating with other departments to insure efficiency and productivity for planning of projects and service.

  • Follows Regulatory developments at all site locations and maintains a working knowledge of the growth Management Process including Development Plans, Concurrency Issues, Vested Rights and Capacity Reservation of critical Public Services necessary for phased development.

  • Subscribe to the company policies regarding the development and implementation of specific business plans.

  • Manage remote and locate construction sites and create a weekly reporting system for management review.
