We seek a professional, career-minded individual with proven leadership ability to take charge of our sales and business development activities. This is a customer focused role responsible for identifying, meeting, developing and maintaining business relationships and sales opportunities for the company. - Initiate, lead and direct all sales and marketing activities in order to produce the best possible alternatives for clients and prospects in selecting Wurster Construction for their construction needs.
- To actively seek negotiated contracts opportunities in the private industry sector through business development and marketing activities directed at owners, architects and through trade associations.
- Face to face visits with clients and prospects in specific market segments, which is heavily weighted towards architects, developers and owners in the healthcare market(s). Additional market segments outlined in the Wurster Strategic Plan.
- Prior to presentations, assist in obtaining background information on the client/prospect(s) while developing a strategic plan specific to the presentation/committee.
- Develop and assist in the implementation of a marketing plan that includes but is not limited to: specific clients, prospects, market segments, budget, specific to construction delivery methods (GC, CMc, design/build), opportunities by dollars, opportunities by owner-type, involvement of principals in the marketing plan.
