Project Management
Develop project plans including costs, timeline, milestones, etc.
Manage multiple projects for renovation and construction simultaneously
Develop/maintain solid working relationships with contractors, vendors and third party suppliers, and communicate effectively
Maintain strong client orientation to ensure excellent/very good levels of client satisfaction are maintained
Ensure team focus in managing all projects to leverage resources efficiently and effectively
Deliver projects on-time, within budget and to specified standards
Provide scheduled management reports including costs, schedules, risks & mitigants
Manage and coordinate the competitive bidding and procurement process
Technical
Analyze space requests and provide long term planning for effective usage
Ensure codes and standards for any/all projects are met
Understand/interpret space planning and architectural concepts and drawings, and ensure maintenance needs are accounted for
Able to troubleshoot/recommend purchase/repair options for HVAC machinery abbd routine building
Deferred Maintenance
Develop needs assessment and priorities for multiple location infrastructure with both commercial/residential buildings
Manage/oversee $6MM - $10MM program with emphasis on efficiency and future expansion
Skills:
Expert project management skills
Ability to effectively negotiate and interface with senior level Admin and Deans
Customer service oriented with solid communications skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and complexity
Problem identification and resolution skills
Ability to utilize project planning software
Experience
Minimum 10 years experience required
Working knowledge of building codes and infrastructure standards
Experience developing capital budgets and analyzing costs
Experience managing/traveling to multiple locations
Engineering degree required
