Job Description:
The Regional Construction Director is responsible for the overall direction of the southeast operational region. This position is responsible for projects, market area, geographic area, and assigned staff within their organizational region. This position is based in the regional headquarters in Atlanta but encompasses frequent site visits within southeast region.

Duties/Responsibilities: - Monitor the performance of work to ensure it is done in accordance with cost schedules, completion timetables, contractual and client requirements.
- Provide regional leadership.
- Ensure adherence to policies, standards and procedures and licensing regulations.
- Resolve conflicts or controversy to facilitate meeting established company objectives.
- Coordinate estimates, plan, staff, and supervise all operational activities including: project costs, change orders and profitability goals, scheduling, contract and subcontractor issues.
- Confer with professional staff to resolve operating problems, authorize operational procedures, and approve additional work and deviations from budgeted goals.
- Initiate and maintain liaisons with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate positive relationships and communications.
- Maintain positive posture for assigned construction work segments and monitor cost to complete analysis activities routinely.
- Prepare and monitor Profit/Loss projection for all projects.
- Interface with Contract Administrators, Estimating and Risk Management.
- Perform additional assignments as requested by the President.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management.
- Minimum 15 years construction industry experience required including 5 years in the Retail Construction area.
- Extensive knowledge of estimating and operational coordination.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, computer and analytical skills necessary.
