Job Description:
Participate in developing, and implement established sales strategy for Columbus, Ohio office. Develop sales leads and meet with owners to enhance the competitive posture of Barton Malow to secure profitable work.
Work with Columbus office Vice President to develop sales strategies for the Columbus office and implement sales action plans.
Conduct market niche research for annual business plan.
Establish and maintain a client and peer professional network.
Determine office marketing tools and media campaign needs.
Manage conference planning effort for Columbus office.
Determine the approach for proposals and presentations.
Prepare and reproduce proposals and qualifications packages.
Prepare presentations using PowerPoint software.
Maintain lead prospects in Deltek sales management system.
Promote operations group employee morale by ensuring employee recognition in Company sponsored publications and encouraging milestone and success celebrations.
Organize and maintain office marketing files.
Manage Columbus office marketing public relations.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or industry related technical field (engineering, architecture).
5-10 years experience working in the Architecture/Engineer/Construction industry.
Thorough understanding of construction industry, construction terminology and procedures.
Strong communication (verbal and writing) skills.
Working knowledge of PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
Strong organization and time management skills.
Able to work without close supervision and in a team environment.
Understanding of marketing principles.
Editing skills necessary to produce quality documents.
