Job Description:
Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (LEA), an employee owned, full-service multi-disciplinary engineering and construction firm located in Plainville, CT. is seeking a CFO to direct and coordinate the financial objectives and obligations internally and establish and maintain sound business relationships with capital/banking/lending institutions and bonding brokers/underwriters externally.
Key responsibilities include: ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements; developing and implementing finance, accounting, billing and auditing procedures; establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards; interacting with management team to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations; designing and coordinating a wide variety of financial and statistical data and reports.
Bachelors degree in Accounting with 10 years experience in the construction or engineering professional services industry and at least 5 years management experience. M&A; banking and bonding; and understanding of accounting and payroll computer systems also required. Advanced degree and/or CPA preferred; proficiency with Timberline a plus.
