Job Description:
We are seeking a business development professional to be an integral part of a project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all business development efforts including the following tasks:
� Develop solar photovoltaic design/build projects and execute Power Purchase Agreements, primarily in New Jersey.
� Post-project sales of service and solar renewable energy credit (SREC) management services.
� Manage and qualify leads and convert them into paid studies, design/build contracts, and/or Power Purchase Agreements.
� Establish and maintain contacts at several levels of client�s organization � Operations/Facilities, Purchasing, Executive (e.g. CFO)
� Negotiate and close a structured transaction (contract)
� Complete financial analysis and describe accounting treatment of solar project tax benefits
� Support bundling of sales of other Dome-Tech offerings, including energy audits, retrocommissioning, demand-side and energy procurement services.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
� Four Year degree required, preferably in engineering, although mathematics, environmental science, or economics are acceptable. An MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred.
� Four (4) years minimum experience (8 preferred) selling equipment and/or technical solutions to industrial customers.
� Track record of selling intangible products and services in industrial markets
� Previous experience with an energy service company beneficial.
� Demonstrated ability to penetrate new accounts
� Polished and professional appearance, well-spoken, gregarious
� Must be computer literate with word processing / spreadsheet software.
� Technical writing skills required.
� Must be physically able and willing to conduct site inspections (climb ladders, walk on roofs, etc.).
� Must have strong relationship building skills.
� Experience in construction or construction related field desired.
