Job Description:
Manage the Multi-Family division in the Construction Department with core responsibilities being on market research and analysis. Provide communication and support for Budgeting Department, Sales Department, and Accounting Department. Maintain a working knowledge regarding competition, building practices, codes, economic trends and other pertinent data.

Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of 10-12 Builders and 15-20 Assistant Builders in approximately 15 developments in the Des Moines metro area
Oversee management of Home Owner Associations for communities
Overall P&L; responsibilities for $25-40 Million
Oversee environmental and safety management
Manage construction of apartment communities for sister companies
Work closely with Purchasing and Estimating in bidding out and awarding contracts to trade partners
Work directly with Sales and Marketing to ensure home owner satisfaction during the construction process

Education/Experience:
Four year college degree in construction management or related field as well as seven to ten years experience in a production management or residential construction management position in the multi-family arena
