Job Description:
Peterson Brothers Construction is a large, rapidly growing concrete specialty services company located in Brea, CA. We have a 24-year tradition of providing our customers with very high quality, cost-effective products. Our business is expanding and we are looking for a seasoned sales professional to lead our Business Development function.

The right candidate for this opportunity will provide strategic leadership to our sales and marketing departments. He/she will create a plan to increase market share for both our commercial and residential products and enhance the very long-standing business relationships we currently have. You will also be tasked with aligning our sales efforts with our Estimating function. As a key contributor to the senior management team, you will report jointly to the President and the Director of Operations.

It is essential you bring a sound command of the concrete construction industry. You will collaborate with field leadership to align PBC�s man power with our contractual commitments. Since quality is so important to our reputation, you must regularly communicate with our Manager of Quality Assurance.

You will be responsible for Directing the tactical activities of our Business Development Managers and mentoring their professional development. Your skills in negotiating and collaborating with business partners must be at a very high level. You must be trusted by our clients; your word must be your deed.

You must bring 5 years experience in a similar role while managing 6 direct reports. A Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred. Your ability to articulate a coherent and convincing business plan is essential.
