I maximize value of client real estate.

Meeting fast track schedule demands
Building effective collaborations and teams
Getting maximum return at the lowest feasible cost
Effectively planning and controlling multiple, simultaneous projects and process phases

I have Bachelor of Architecture and BS Architecture degrees from Lawrence Technological University. I am a Registered Architect in Michigan, a LEED Accredited Professional (US Green Building Council), and have been a member of the International Facility Management Association and the Society for Marketing Professional Services.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Integrated showcase design / build initiative. Sophisticated high tech, LEED Gold installation planned by BAE Systems was oddly disjointed and unsophisticated in its design / build plan. Led Plante Moran CRESA integration of previously uncoordinated construction and infrastructure development of $80M prototype office building. Moved completion time ahead by several months while eliminating $1M in likely rework costs.

Replaced ad hoc maintenance with organized, cost effective system. Plante Moran CRESAs client Eastern Michigan University spent excessively on maintenance due to fix-it-when-it-breaks approach. Introduced proactive budget and work planning for covering 4.5 million sq. ft. in all 113 campus structures. Turned reactive and expensive maintenance strategy into well-planned, cost-controlled preventive maintenance system.

Developed multi-year business development plan. Designed strategic market research, and business and financial proposals and presentations, enabling Barton Malow to effectively pursue the growing higher education sector. Won baseball stadium project at Oakland University based on strength of team presentation performance.

Leveraged process improvement capabilities into new business. Plante Moran CRESA client IAV Automotive Engineering planned to build state-of-the-art testing center and office building. Demonstrated value of integrating test equipment installation into initial construction plan. Expanded contract beyond original site development to encompass development of entire building. Saved IAV thousands of dollars and months of time, and added revenue.

Negotiated and won hundreds of projects with key client. Defined scope, negotiated and won contracts for Barton Malow, encompassing hundreds of individual projects within four million sq. ft. of facilities housing 20,000 Chrysler personnel.
