Directed day to day operations of the engineering dept. conducting asset reviews of physical plant, interior structure and exterior envelope, Security Life / Safety.
Responsible for staffing & hiring, training, Scheduling work assignments to key personnel, held monthly safety training for our department and other support staff.
Budget administration, development, purchasing, set lease contracts.
Completed a 2.5 million renovation on time on budget.
Oversaw capital improvements to the facility.

Directed day-to-day engineering department operations of this 365-bed acute care facility including a 165 bed off sight transitional care facility and a 65 bed residential chemical dependency unit, along with 6 other support buildings.
Managed specialized departments like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, paint, lock shop, steam engineers, Scheduled a staff of 12 15 people.
Coached and counseled employees as needed or required, maintained staff records, employee memos, written counseling.
Inspected maintenance work, assigned work orders to specialized staff members such as plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and coordinate with department supervisors for polite access to high volume areas for minimal impact to guests or patients and team members.

2002 2003 Department of Homeland Security-Los Angeles, CA. Federal Agent LAX
My mission was to collect prohibited and surrendered items from each terminal check point. Weapons, hazardous material, confiscated items; my job was to categorize and organize and document their safe handling and safely convey the items to their final location for safe disposition.
We also were given the task to create and organize a storeroom receiving and distributing consumable items, stock and inventory for 8 terminals and administration services. Because of our diligence our department was recognized by Homeland Security for being the only airport in the nation to be fully operational by our required mandate, because of that hard work we were selected to write the S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedures) for the entire nation modeling how we had achieved our success.
