Houston, TX ? July 10, 2002 ? Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX), a leading provider of commercial/industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning (?HVAC?) services, announced the promotion of Valenda Chancey, formerly director, Human Resources, to vice president of Human Resources.
Ms. Chancey will oversee all human resource operations for Comfort Systems USA, Inc., which currently employs approximately 6,500 employees operating from multiple locations in the United States. Ms. Chancey, a 20-year veteran in the human resources area, is responsible for multiple benefit, insurance, and retirement programs, and will focus on initiatives to help the company retain and build its most important resource.
