Integrated Electrical Services Names New Chief Financial Officer

HOUSTON, -- Integrated Electrical Services, Inc. (NYSE: IES) today announced that Jeffrey A. Pugh has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Pugh will assume this role effective June 7, 2004.
Mr. Pugh has 17 years of financial and management consulting experience. He previously worked for IES from January 2001 through November 2002 and served as Treasurer of the company from October 2001 to November 2002. For the past eighteen months he has been at Quanex Corporation serving in a key finance role reporting to the CFO. His responsibilities included treasury, compliance, internal audit, risk management, corporate information technology and long term strategic planning.
Prior to joining IES in 2001, Mr. Pugh provided corporate investment banking services to public and private companies as a Managing Director of Trion Associates and as a Director of McFarland Grossman & Co. Mr. Pugh also provided strategic consulting services as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Pugh holds an MBA from Tulane University. "We are extremely happy to have Jeff back at IES as CFO.
