Perini Building Co., a subsidiary of Perini Corp. (AMEX: PCR) Wednesday announced the promotion of Mark Caspers to senior vice president of construction operations. Caspers is now responsible for the overall supervision of field personnel and jobsite logistics for all Perini projects. He reports directly to the president of Perini Building Co. Currently he is overseeing field operations on Perini's largest jobs: Mohegan Sun, Opryland, the Palms, the Resort at Green Valley and Caesars Palace. An employee of Perini Building since 1982, Caspers has been involved with over 35 Perini projects. Each of these jobs has opened on time or ahead of schedule. Prior to his promotion, Caspers was vice president of field operations for Perini. He is a three-time recipient of the ACI Concrete in Excellence Award and recently received Perini's President Award for the Silver Legacy and Paris Las Vegas. Perini Building Co. is the largest builder of hotels and casinos in the country. To date, the company has built over 39,000 hotel rooms. Other areas of specialization include airports, power and utility, prisons, health care, and sports and entertainment.
