ELMSFORD, N.Y., June 3 -- Richard T. Hallahan, P.E., has been appointed president of Baker Engineering NY, Inc., a unit of Michael Baker Corporation (Amex: BKR). In this position, Hallahan will be responsible for the operations and continued growth of the firm's five offices in New York and New England.
Hallahan has more than 27 years of engineering experience in the design, rehabilitation, inspection and construction of bridges, highways, tunnels, buildings and waterfront structures. He joined Baker Engineering NY, Inc., in 1995 as manager for the Structures and Construction Departments. In 2003, Hallahan was appointed senior vice president of operations for the New York and New England offices. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York.
