PASADENA, Calif.---June 7, 2004--Adrienne Gill has been named Director of Business Development for The Beck Group's operations in California. The firm has offices in Pasadena and Pleasanton and Adrienne will office out of the Pasadena location.
Adrienne attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, relocated to Arizona in 1982 and opened an architectural studio whose primary business focus was design, fabrication and installation of architectural metals. She moved into marketing and business development in shell construction and developed start-ups for two Southwest general contractors. Most recently, she served as Manager of Business Development for Gilbane and Gilbane Properties Inc., working in southern California and Arizona. Previously she served as Director of Client Relations for a statewide law firm and a global law firm, growing their construction, real estate finance, entertainment, youth lifestyle and healthcare practices in several offices.
She has also served as Director of Development for both the Arizona Technology Council and Childhelp USA. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) and Greater Phoenix BOMA. Currently she is active in AAED, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Valley Partnership and various other civic and trade associations both in Arizona and Southern California. In 2002 she was named "Member of the Year" of AAED. She was recognized as one of the "100 Most Influential Women in Arizona" in 2003, and has received the prestigious "Kid for Life" award from the Boys and Girls Clubs.
