NEW YORK--May 14, 2004--Tishman Construction Corporation (TCC) Chairman and CEO Daniel R. Tishman announces the promotion of two key executives to the firm's Executive Management Team, based in its New York Headquarters. The appointment of these officers, who possess extensive experience in a broad range of construction, real estate development, and technology-related activities, further solidifies Tishman's senior executive management leadership and strategically positions the firm to continue to meet current and future demands.
The promotions are:
-- John T. Livingston, from Chief Operating Officer to President of TCC Eastern Region.
-- Jay Badame, from Executive Vice President to Chief Operating Officer of TCC Eastern Region.

John T. Livingston
A 27-year veteran of the construction, finance, and real estate industries in both the public and private sectors, John T. Livingston offers an extensive background in all facets of the development, design, and the building process.
In addition to assuming the role of President of Eastern Operations for TCC, Mr. Livingston continues to serve as President of Tishman Urban Development Corporation (TUDC), which specializes in the development and management of large-scale, public/private projects and joint-venture real estate opportunities. Mr. Livingston was instrumental in the development and construction of Tishman's 200,000-square foot E Walk complex on 42nd Street in Manhattan, as well as the adjoining 863-room Westin New York at Times Square. In the mid '90s, Mr. Livingston supervised the restoration of the historic New Amsterdam Theatre for the Walt Disney Company.
Prior to joining Tishman in 1994, Mr. Livingston was a Partner of The Linpro Company, overseeing the firm's development activities in New York and Connecticut where he supervised the development and construction of the Federal Office Building at Foley Square, and was responsible for the master planning of the New Penn Station proposed for the Farley U.S. Post Office Building. Earlier, he was the Executive Vice President of Development for the New York City Public Development Corporation (now Economic Development Corporation).
Mr. Livingston has also held positions in the real estate departments of New England Mutual Life Insurance Company and VMS Realty, Inc., a Chicago-based investment company. In February, 1993, he was named by Crain's New York Business magazine as one of its "40 Under 40" award recipients, recognizing his outstanding business achievements in New York City.
Mr. Livingston holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters Degree in City Planning from Harvard University.
Jay Badame
Jay Badame has more than 25 years of diversified construction industry experience, including 19 years with Tishman.
Mr. Badame joined Tishman in 1985 as a Project Engineer on the South Street Seaport project in Manhattan. He quickly rose through the ranks of the Tishman organization by continuously demonstrating a thorough understanding of how to manage work effectively on a wide range of projects.
In 1993, Mr. Badame was put in charge of Tishman's New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware operations. In this role, Mr. Badame led Tishman's efforts on several major, multi-million-dollar projects, such as the JFK International Airport Redevelopment Program, the Continental Airlines Global Gateway Program at Newark Liberty International Airport, Rutgers University RUNet Program, New Jersey Transit's Hoboken Terminal and Rail Yard Complex Redevelopment, the FBI headquarters in Newark, the new Atlantic City Convention Center, and the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.
Under Mr. Badame's leadership, Tishman has expanded its role as a major residential project builder in the New York/New Jersey marketplace. In 2002, he oversaw the opening of Tishman's regional office in Philadelphia.
Mr. Badame holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural major from Pennsylvania State University.
