The Lean Construction Institute Project Delivery Forum will meet in Chicago on April 22nd & 23rd. The Project Delivery Forum is co-chaired by Paul Reiser from The Boldt Company, and John Brock from Burt Hill Kosar Rittleman Associates.
Forum meetings: Meetings will include conversations about and investigations into the challenges and opportunities of applying Lean Project Delivery (LPD) approaches in design and construction. This meeting will focus on the application of LPD to the delivery of health care facilities, and the lessons will be generally applicable to projects that are complex, uncertain and quick.
Discussions will include the following topics. ?? Lean Design Management for hospitals: Focus on care delivery systems. ?? Target costing for health care facilities. ?? Lean Design Management from a CM perspective: Supply chain involvement and development. ?? Lean Pull Planning - managing the levels of planning throughout project delivery ?? The impact of lean on the provision of health care facilities.

Fee: For the meeting is $200 for LCI members and academics. The $350 fee for non-members includes a one year individual membership in LCI.
We will have a continental breakfast in the meeting room beginning at 7:30 and lunch at noon. The meeting starts at 8am each day closing at 4:30 on Thursday and 3 on Friday.
