GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--March 22, 2004--3D/I proudly announces the addition of Timothy J. Marcus, P.E. to its staff as Vice President and Grand Rapids Office Leader. Tim has over 18 years experience in complex design and construction projects in the United States and abroad. He has successfully managed challenging multi-disciplined engineering projects, at-risk and construction management projects, environmental investigations and remediation projects.
Tim is focused on meeting each client's requirements of scope, schedule and budget in a mutually beneficial manner. He most recently served as Vice President/Senior Section Manager for Earth Tech, Inc. focusing on industrial facilities design in the pharmaceutical and telecommunication sectors. Tim also worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Fort Carson, Colorado.
Tim holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Western Michigan University-Kalamazoo as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (with a construction management option) from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. He is a licensed professional engineer in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Tim is also a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
