Kenneth M. Champion Joins Hill International as Vice President in Washington, DC Office

Hill International, Inc., the worldwide construction consulting firm, has hired Kenneth M. Champion as a Vice President. Champion, who will be based in the company's Washington, DC office, will act as Quality Control Superintendent for Hill's recently awarded contract to provide construction management services on the proposed renovation project at the U.S. Supreme Court building.
Champion has more than 23 years of experience in the construction industry, and has worked for some of the largest general contractors and construction managers in the U.S. Prior to joining Hill, Champion was President and founder of Champion Contracting Corp. Before that, he was at various times Senior Vice President for Barney Skanska, Vice President with Tishman Construction Co., and Vice President with Morse Diesel International.
Some of the major projects that Champion has been involved in are: Disney's Animal Kingdom and EPCOT Center in Orlando, FL; the Orange County Courthouse in Orlando, FL; and the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island restoration projects in New York City. Champion earned his B.S. in construction management from Central Connecticut State University, and he has been an instructor in construction management and historic preservation at New York University.
