Watson Land Company Names Brian Parno Vice President of Design and Construction

CARSON, Calif.--Dec. 9, 2003--Watson Land Company, among the largest developers of master planned industrial centers in Los Angeles County, has named Brian Parno as vice president of Design and Construction. Parno will be responsible for managing all aspects of the development process and coordinating work with government agencies, architects and contractors.
"Brian has an extensive background in design and construction, skills that will be invaluable to our firm as we continue to build Legacy Buildings(SM) and upgrade our existing portfolio in Southern California," said Kirk Johnson, Senior Vice President, Real Estate Operations.
Parno brings more than 25 years of experience in industrial development, design and construction to his new position at the firm. Most recently, he was vice president for Wentz Group Construction Services in Southern California and prior to that he was vice president of corporate development for Snyder Langston. Parno began his career, and spent more than 20 years, with The Dominion Company, a developer/builder headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.

Parno is a graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, as well as the British Columbia Institute of Technology, a member of NAIOP and active in the International Development & Research Council. He resides in Rancho Santa Margarita with his wife and three children.
