Hill International, Inc., the worldwide construction consulting firm, has hired Edward T. Allard III as a Vice President. Allard, who will be based in the company's Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA offices, will be involved in strategic partnering and business development for the company's Project Management Group.
Allard has more than 35 years of extensive, results-oriented professional experience in the areas of profit, performance, productivity, and management improvement. Prior to joining Hill, he served two Presidential appointments with the U.S. federal government: as the SES Director of the Office of Performance Excellence for the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, and earlier as the Advisor to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense. Prior to accepting those positions, he was President and Founder of Allard & Associates, a highly regarded, performance improvement consulting firm with comprehensive work among many Fortune 500, U. S. Federal Departments, and other organizations.. Allard also spent ten years in the United States Marine Corps, and served two combat tours in Vietnam (67-69), quickly rising from the enlisted ranks to Captain. Allard earned his M.B.A. from the University of Miami.
