PLANTATION, Fla.---Nov. 20, 2003--Al Petrangeli, President of Centex Rooney Construction Company, remarked that "Centex Rooney continues to grow as we round out our 70th year of business. This has created exciting leadership opportunities for some of our outstanding employees." Al is pleased to announce the following promotions:
<p>
Rob Baker has been promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of Tampa operations. Rob earned a bachelor of science degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, and he is a Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida. Rob has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, of which 18 years have been with Centex Rooney. Since joining Centex Rooney in 1985, he has served as a project manager, vice president and project executive. He has built up a loyal client base in Orlando with the University of Central Florida and Seminole Community College and will continue as the head of our education division.

Ron Dunn has been promoted to Senior Vice President heading up special projects. Ron has more than 32 years of experience in the construction industry. In 1988, Ron joined Centex Rooney as a general superintendent on the Presidential Circle Office Building in Hollywood, Florida. Since then he was promoted to project executive and vice president. He has experience working on a diversity of projects including sports arenas, hospitality/hotel and resort projects, educational facilities, office buildings and government facilities. Ron, located in the company's Plantation office, is currently overseeing projects for Wal*Mart, Boca Resorts, Capri Resort, LLC, GSA, and Apollo Real Estate Advisors, L.P.

Tim Anderson has been promoted to Vice President supporting the company's retail and Broward County operations. Tim earned a bachelor of science in Building Construction from the University of Florida. Tim has more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry, of which 17 years have been with Centex Rooney. Since 1997, Tim has served as project manager and senior project manager on 12 projects for Bass Pro Shops nationwide. Tim, located in the company's Plantation office, is a certified general contractor in the state of Florida and currently serves on the Board of Construction Association of South Florida. As Vice President, he will continue to oversee the Bass Pro Shops, Broward County Schools and Broward Community College accounts.

Alan Silver has been promoted to Vice President in charge of Tallahassee operations. Alan earned a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Alan has more than 21 years of experience in the construction industry. Alan started with Centex Rooney as a project engineer in 1986, and was later promoted to assistant project manager and project manager. He is located in the company's Tallahassee office and is currently overseeing projects for Florida State University, Okaloosa County, Tuskegee University and Florida Department of Transportation.
