ONM&J ENGINEERS 1,400 ACRE MASTER PLANNED COMMUNITY TESORO Means Treasure for Lucky Homeowners in $986 million Dollar Port St. Lucie Development Project
(WEST PALM/ORLANDO) ? O?Donnell, Naccarato, Mignogna & Jackson (ONM&J) structural engineers, with offices in West Palm Beach and Orlando, announced today that construction is well underway on Tesoro-a 1400 acre, $986 million dollar groundbreaking master-planned community, in Port St. Lucie, FL. ONM&J Structural Engineers teamed with Peacock & Lewis Architects to design the project for the Ginn Company.
The Ginn Co.'s projects include Tesoro near Port St. Lucie, where 900 homes averaging around $1.5 million are expected to sell out in just two years, and Watersong on Hutchinson Island.
Bill Mignogna, Principal, ONM&J states, ?We are proud to be a part of this exciting master planned community development for The Ginn Company. We, at ONM&J, are strong believers in Florida, and Tesoro is an excellent example of what is right for Florida?preserving the land while providing a quality lifestyle.?
The focal point of Tesoro will be the multi-million dollar, 60,000 square foot plus Tesoro Club, overlooking a 120-acre lake and both golf courses, with 45 signature holes designed by Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson, a luxury pool complex, a swim and racquet club--with its own separate Clubhouse--tennis courts, croquet courts, a gourmet restaurant, a complete health-fitness-spa complex, including weight rooms, aerobics, steam and sauna, and a variety of world-class amenities. The two Clubhouse facilities will be the community gathering place for social and recreational interaction. Future plans for Tesoro include an oceanfront Beach Club for residents.
The Ginn Company and Peacock and Lewis Architects & Planners, Inc. are carefully crafting this project to make the most of the natural Florida beauty, including designing for the enhancement of the numerous small lakes, towering pines and magnificent oak trees that are found throughout the property. Distinctive individual neighborhoods, with unique architectural styling and individual entryway all developed within the master Mediterranean design theme, will be further improved with an extensive landscaping program.
The project is designed to be a self-contained private paradise, yet Tesoro is situated to make the most of Florida. Located in the heart of the three county, Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin, ?Treasure Coast,? Tesoro is little more than an hour from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, 30 minutes from West Palm Beach Airport, minutes from the beaches of Hutchinson Island, the Atlantic Ocean and the town of Stuart--and a short drive from Worth Avenue in Palm Beach.
ONM&J is one of the State of Florida?s largest structural engineering firms, and is annually responsible for providing services for projects with construction values in excess of 700 million dollars.
