Maxwell Systems, Inc., a leading provider of job cost accounting and service management systems for the construction and related industries, today announced the opening of new corporate offices located at 2500 Dekalb Pike, Norristown, PA . "It had become clear to us that the growth we are experiencing was making it necessary to move to an environment that is more conducive to teamwork and the rapid development of new products", said Randy Alexander, Maxwell's president and COO. "The new space turned out to be just what we were looking for", Alexander went on to say.
Located only one half mile from Maxwell's former offices of the past 24 plus years, the offices offer a modern, wide open look and feel that fosters an environment of collaboration and effective communication in a relaxed, professional setting.
The move was prompted partly by the company's growth and subsequent organizational restructuring, and partly by a renewed focus on market-driven product enhancement and development. Rick Hartman, Vice President of Marketing and head of Maxwell's Product Management group stated, "We've been working hard for the past few years to broaden our product line with state-of-the-art solutions. Our newest American Contractor Visual FoxPro release, the latest enhancements contained in the version 5.7 release of our NGS service management system, and the integration of all of FieldCentrix products to our accounting products are examples of the types of technology we will continue to produce over the next few years." Hartman added, "Throw in our American Contractor Estimating system, and we're uniquely positioned to offer end-to-end solutions to our construction and service customers to help them run more efficiently in these highly competitive times. The market is responding well to our customer-driven development focus and we intend to deliver more products faster than ever before over the next year."
Eric Foster, Maxwell's Vice President of Development, said, "Our development team is excited about our products' overwhelming success in the recent past. However, they're more excited by the challenges awaiting them in the development of our next few releases. Our new office working environment will go a long way in adding to the team's efficiency and effectiveness."
The new offices will be formally unveiled to Maxwell's shareholders during an investor presentation and office open house on April 12, 2002.
