SAN FRANCISCO ? Architecture firm Gordon H Chong & Partners announces the promotion of six staff members from its San Francisco office and one from its Sacramento office to its senior associate and associate ranks.
Promotions in the firm?s San Francisco office include two new senior associates: Todd Bloch and Roger Snyder, both members of the American Institute of Architects. The following were named associates: Brian Milman, Wulff Piotraschke, Roland Lau and Rochelle Nagata-Wu.
In the firm?s Sacramento office, Bret Harper, a Senior Interior Designer with GHCP since 1998, was also promoted to senior associate. The promoted staff members join the firm?s leadership of five partners, 15 associate partners, 12 senior associates, and 26 associates.
Bloch is a Project Architect with 15 years of professional experience, eight of them at GHCP. He has experience in a variety of project types including healthcare and parking/transportation facilities. Snyder, who joined GHCP in 2002, is a Senior Project Manager with nearly 30 years of professional experience. He brings expertise to a wide range of institutional commissions ranging from the design of telecommunication facilities to government buildings to engineering, science and research facilities.
Harper has more than 10 years of experience in a broad range of project types including planning and design of corporate offices, call centers, medical office buildings, tenant improvements and retail space.
Milman is a Project Architect with seven years of experience in healthcare and commercial office building projects. Piotraschke is a Project Architect with more than 10 years of experience in commercial office building projects. Both joined GHCP in 2001.
Lau, also a member of the American Institute of Architects, has 30 years of professional experience in a variety of project types including his recent role as Senior Project Architect for Kaiser Permanente?s Template Hospital Project, a new program that establishes standardized models for design and construction of hospitals for America?s largest non-profit HMO. He joined the firm in 2002.
Nagata-Wu is a Project Architect with six years of experience. During her two years at GHCP, she has worked primarily on Golden Gate Park Concourse Parking Garage. This unique project will reduce traffic congestion in the park and will permit the replacement of existing paved areas with landscaping and pedestrian areas.
