Parsons Appoints Willie Clark III as Vice President of Energy Sector

PASADENA, Calif.-Sept. 16, 2003--Parsons is pleased to announce the appointment of Willie Clark III as Vice President, Energy Sector, for the Systems, Defense, and Security (SDS) division of Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group.
Mr. Clark will be based in the Fairfax/Washington,D.C., area, and will lead Parsons' business development and energy sector operations in conjunction with projects for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) throughout the country, in locations such as Oak Ridge, Tenn.; Aiken, S.C.; Livermore, Calif.; and National Energy and Technology Laboratories (NETL) in Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Morgantown, W.Va.
Willie Clark brings to Parsons a broad range of leadership, managerial and technical skills that encompass a background of 21 years at the Department of Energy. Most recently he served as Director of the Office of Project Management and Systems Support for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and was responsible for developing NNSA policy and procedures for project baselines. As a senior executive director in NNSA, he served as the point of contact on project management issues with congressional staff, the Defense Nuclear Facility Safety Board and the National Research Council.

Mr. Clark, a native of Pine Bluff, Ark., attended Louisiana Tech University and received a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is a member of the Project Management Institute and Construction Industry Institute.
