We spend a considerable amount of time educating our staff and have a very low turnover rate. The three Associates have all been with the firm for over seven years. In addition to the aesthetics of the project and its relation to the site, the Architect willingly takes on the many thousands of decisions that relate to construction and Life Safety Issues. Larry Cohan, AIA is the current Chairperson of the Miami-Dade Fire Safety and Prevention Appeals Board, and is a Florida Building Code expert. He and fellow Principal, Arthur Pearl recently agreed to add a second door to a private garage in a luxury condominium. ?It may never be needed,? Cohan adds, ?but is not just what the Code says, it is what makes good, safe, sense.?
