URS Wins Five-Year Navy Contract Valued at Over $75 Million

SAN FRANCISCO--Aug. 19, 2003--URS Corporation (NYSE:URS - News) today announced that the Company's EG&G division has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Navy to provide engineering and technical services to the Theater Warfare Systems Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Virginia. Under the terms of the Detect/Engage Technical Engineering Support Program contract, EG&G will help the Navy integrate weapons systems on existing and future ships. The five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has an estimated total value to URS of over $75 million.
Commenting on the contract win, Martin M.
