CORAL GABLES, Fla., July 2 -- Avatar Properties Inc. announced today that recently joining the company are Eric Finkelberg as Senior Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development and Jeff Daley as Land Acquisition Manager.
Finkelberg will head up Avatar Properties' Land Acquisition and Business Development Department. Finkelberg has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Labor Relations and Economics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a Bachelors of Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada. He has 17 years of Real Estate Development experience both in acquisitions and operations, the last 11 years in South Florida.
Prior to joining Avatar Properties, Finkelberg was a Vice President of Toll Brothers, Inc., overseeing land acquisitions for the State of Florida, and Vice President of Operations of Toll Brothers' country club community in Stuart, Florida.
Finkelberg is a licensed real estate agent and holds a General Contractor's license for the State of Florida.
Daley was formerly Land Acquisition Manager with Toll Brothers, Inc., in Delray Beach, Florida, and previously in accounting and management consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
Daley, a Certified Public Accountant, is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. <p> Avatar Properties Inc. is a subsidiary of Avatar Holdings Inc., primarily engaged in real estate operations in Florida and Arizona. Its principal real estate operations are conducted at Poinciana, Bellalago and Solivita in central Florida near Orlando; Harbor Islands on Florida's east coast; and at Rio Rico, south of Tucson, Arizona.
