PHOENIX---July 15, 2003-- MPS to Incorporate Brava!(TM) and Brava!(TM) Publisher View, Markup, and Collaboration Software in New Business Process Management Solution
Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in Web publishing, viewing and collaboration technology, announced today that it has been selected by Meridian Project Systems(R) (MPS), a leading provider of project management software and ASP solutions, to integrate its Brava! Web-based document viewing and collaboration software with MPS products and services. MPS will integrate Brava into Proliance(R), the first Web native enterprise process management solution for corporate real estate and construction markets. This agreement covers Proliance in both self-hosted and ASP environments.
Proliance represents a new paradigm for managing projects, programs and organizational processes across global and large national companies. Targeted toward corporate real estate/large facility owners, and architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) companies, Proliance is MPS' third-generation Internet technology platform enabling the benefits of business process management across the enterprise.
Proliance utilizes Web Services and XML technology on the Microsoft(R) .NET application framework. Proliance is built on a powerful foundation of Platform Services that include workflow automation, action and distribution management, security, file management, reporting, and communication tools.
For viewing and redlining capabilities in Proliance, MPS reviewed available technologies from several vendors and selected the Brava! Webkit and Brava! Publisher products for their superior performance, usability, features and integration capabilities.
"One important reason MPS has maintained its leadership in project management services and solutions is its commitment to technical excellence," said David Ing, Chief Software Architect at MPS. "The latest version of Brava is stylish, fast and has a proven record in large-scale deployments -- all a must in our Proliance customer environment," added Ing.
Brava products have been engineered from the ground up to offer higher performance and fidelity, along with several new and unique view and markup functions. MPS is the first company to roll out the latest version of Brava as part of its ASP services. Brava is currently used to give construction and real estate-related companies and their users document and CAD drawing viewing, redlining, printing and design change-management functions.
"Our partnership with MPS signals both our continuing, unmatched success in the Service Provider arena and the growing strength of our product offering," said Gary Heath, CEO at IGC. "Integrating our Brava technology with MPS products underscores our mutual objective to deliver the absolute best to both our partners and end-users. We anticipate immediate response from the marketplace and many opportunities going forward," he added.
