Suitt Construction names Adkins Development Director for Food Industry

June 13, 2003--Suitt Construction Co., a BE&K subsidiary, announced that Sid Adkins has been named director of business development for the company's food group. He is responsible for selling the firm's design-build and construction management services to U.S. food processing clients.
A veteran of 20 years in the food industry, Adkins will be based in Suitt's office in Raleigh. Suitt designs and builds food manufacturing, distribution and cold-storage facilities for a broad range of food industry sectors, including bakeries, frozen foods, milk processing, snack foods, poultry and meat processing, prepared foods and beverages.
Adkins is a 1984 graduate of Virginia Tech, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in biology.
Suitt provides construction services to a broad range of industries across the United Sates and in Mexico. Based in Greenville, S.C., it has offices in Raleigh, N.C.; Richmond, Va.; Providence, R.I.; Atlanta, Ga.; Orlando, Fla.; and Birmingham, Ala.
