PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., May 19 -- John Judge has been hired as the Vice President of Educational Services for the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC). Before coming to ABC, Judge worked for the Pennsylvania State Government from 1997-2002, most recently as the Director of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Labor Law Compliance.
In this position, he was responsible for the enforcement of eleven labor and safety laws, including Wage Payment and Collection, Minimum Wage and Overtime, Child Labor, Prevailing Wage, The Underground Utility Lines Protection Act, and Apprenticeship and Training.
Judge is also a former Councilman for the Borough of Jenkintown. Judge is currently involved in several civic organizations including the Philadelphia Youth Council, Montgomery County Youth Council, Selective Commission and Lorman Educational Services. Judge resides in Jenkintown, PA with his wife and is the father of four children.
ABC is a national association representing more than 23,000 Merit construction and construction-related firms in 80 chapters across the United States. The Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter represents Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
