Alberici Constructors, Inc., has formed a new company to focus exclusively on construction projects in the power and petrochemical industries in the mid-Atlantic states.
The new enterprise, Alberici Mid-Atlantic L.L.C., combines Alberici Constructors with West Virginia Management Group (WVMG), whose principals and associates have many years of experience in the targeted industries within the region.
Alberici Mid-Atlantic's main office and specialty fabrication shop will be located in Nitro, WVA. The company plans to pursue projects in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and Kentucky and will use union trades people to perform the work. Alberici will hold majority ownership in the new company.
Oversight management has been assigned to Kenneth Robuck, Vice President and General Manager of Alberici's Southeast Region.
Alberici Mid-Atlantic will be locally managed by Randy McDavid, Gary Carney, Kevin Crank, and Robert Pennington. This management group, in addition to being the owners of WVMG, are former manager-employees of Union Boiler Company. These individuals have strong regional presence in the primary markets Alberici is seeking to enter and bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and resources to the new company.
Alberici is one of the leading construction services firms in the United States. Founded in 1918, Alberici provides general contracting, construction management, specialty contracting and design-build services to companies worldwide.
Alberici, ranked 53rd largest contractor in the U.S. by Engineering News-Record, is headquartered in St. Louis with offices in Detroit and Atlanta.
