Leo J. Taylor Named Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Pulte Homes

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich.--March 5, 2003--Pulte Homes, Inc. (NYSE:PHM), announced today that Leo J. Taylor has been promoted to the new position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Reporting directly to Mark O'Brien, President and CEO of Pulte Homes, Mr. Taylor is responsible for all areas of benefits, payroll and personnel, including the critical functions of recruiting and leadership development within the organization.
"Leo is a strong leader who has spearheaded the development of a variety of innovative programs in the area of people development," said Mark O'Brien. Mr. Taylor joined Pulte Homes in 1994 as Vice President of Human Resources for the Pulte Homes Central Group. He was promoted to the position of Vice President of Human Resources and Sales Development in 1997, in which he became responsible for human resources, employee relations, benefits and compensation, training and development and staffing associated with Pulte's day-to-day operations and long-term strategic objectives.
Prior to joining Pulte Homes, Inc., Mr. Taylor was Vice President of Organizational Changes and Employee Relations for Aetna Life and Casualty. He was also the Group Manager of Corporate Human Resources for Frito Lay, and has held various other roles within Frito Lay.
