NORWALK, Conn.--March 4, 2003--EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME) today announced the election of Larry J. Bump to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Bump's election to the Board increases the number of EMCOR Directors to seven.
Mr. Bump, 63, is Chairman of the Board of Willbros Group, Inc., an international engineering and construction firm. He retired in 2002 as Chief Executive Officer of Willbros, which he had joined in 1977. Prior to that, Mr. Bump had worked for 15 years at the H.C. Price Group of Companies, managing major pipeline construction projects in the Middle East before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer of H.C. Price's International Construction Company in 1975. A past two-term President and member of the Board of Directors of the International Pipeline & Offshore Contractors Association, Mr. Bump currently serves on the Board of Directors of 3TEC Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: TTEN), a Houston-based oil and gas exploration and production company.
