Carpenter to Lead Suitt Construction Group in Southeast Region

GREENVILLE, S.C.--Jan. 15, 2003--Mac Carpenter has been named group vice president of Suitt Construction Company and will head the firm's operations in South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
In his new position Carpenter oversees all pre-construction, estimating and construction activities as well as support services such as purchasing, scheduling, accounting and safety for the automotive, office, hospitality, photo film, electronics, distribution and textile markets and the public sector. A 14-year veteran of Suitt, Carpenter is based at the company's headquarters in Greenville.
Suitt provides construction services to a broad range of industries across the United States and in Mexico. In addition to its headquarters in Greenville, it has offices in Birmingham, Ala.; Atlanta, Ga.; Orlando, Fla.; Raleigh, N.C.; Richmond, Va.; and Providence, R.I.
