INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 8 - The Indiana office of Turner
Construction Company has been chosen as construction manager to oversee
approximately $450 million of work for the Indianapolis International
Airport's new Midfield Terminal, part of a nearly $1 billion program at the
airport. Turner Construction Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The
Turner Corporation, the nation's leading general builder.
Turner is one of two primary construction managers for the airport
program. Turner, in conjunction with associate construction managers Trotter

landside improvements for the 7,000-acre site. Work will include utility line
placement, runway and internal roadway paving, installation of aviation
specific items including jet bridges and de-icing systems, construction of a
parking garage/rental car facility, as well as administrative and support
buildings.
Phase I of the assignment, comprised mostly of site work, will begin in
the first quarter of 2003. The overall project is scheduled for completion by
July 2007.
Turner's Indiana office is currently managing construction work for
several prestigious projects, including a new performing arts center at the
University of Notre Dame and a $100 million expansion of the
Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library. Nationwide, Turner Construction
Company's Aviation Group has extensive experience with ongoing projects at 13
major airports around the country.

The Turner Corporation, through Turner Construction Company and other
construction subsidiaries, is the leading general builder in the U.S., ranking

$6.3 billion of construction. Turner is the only builder offering clients a
nationwide network, with 45 offices across the country. Founded in 1902,
